West Brom confirm starting XI for must-win clash v Luton Town

West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for Saturday afternoon’s game against Luton Town, in a game that could be Steve Bruce’s last.

The pressure is well and truly on with his side after losing three of their last four fixtures as they face an in-form Luton outfit who are unbeaten in their last four.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Albion have welcomed back the likes of Jake Livermore and Brandon Thomas-Asante to their starting XI, with John Swift dropped to the bench.

Do or die

It’s certainly do or die for Bruce in what promises to be a revealing Saturday afternoon matchup at the Hawthorns, one which will likely decide his fate.

Fans may be hoping for a poor result, as it will likely prove to be Bruce’s final nail in the coffin if the Albion fail to gain the vital three points this afternoon.

Nevertheless, the boss has seemed to survive every single attempt to relinquish him of his duties at the club and it wouldn’t be surprising if he survived another after today.

There needs to be a massive improvement in performance for the Albion to have any chance at winning on Saturday afternoon and a bleak forecast has been predicted by many fans.

It’s frustrating to see this fiasco still wreaking havoc on the Baggies campaign, it’s a problem that should have been sorted out a long time ago.

Time will tell, but the game against Luton could prove to be a pivotal turning point in West Brom’s season.

In other West Brom news, Chris Lepkowski has scolded what he brands as a “rancid, horrible bunch” that have made the Baggies dressing room toxic.
