Callum Robinson adds further insult to injury as West Brom draw v Luton Town
Steve Bruce failed to ease the ever-growing pressure on his shoulders after West Brom drew 0-0 at home against Luton Town.
The Baggies have drawn blanks in their last two Championship fixtures and currently sit 22nd in the table with Bruce’s tenure surely close to coming to an end.
One of the more bizarre decisions Bruce made over the summer was allowing 27-year-old Callum Robinson to depart the club without a ready-made replacement to come in.

Brandon Thomas-Asante looks like an exciting prospect but is still very raw and certainly doesn’t have 44 second-tier goals to his name like Robinson.
Robinson’s form for Cardiff City will certainly rub further salt in the wounds of Baggies fans with the Republic of Ireland international managing five goal involvements in six matches.
Carlton Palmer didn’t think Bruce would let Robinson leave the club (Football League World, 5 September) and it appears to be the wrong decision from the West Brom boss.
Albion created plenty of chances against Preston North End on Wednesday (5 October) but looked lifeless whenever the ball was fizzed across the box or placed into dangerous areas.

The Baggies boss has hardly endeared himself to The Hawthorns faithful during his tenure at the club and this is another decision that is backfiring badly.
One win in thirteen matches is form that will see Albion plunge into League One unless a change is made quickly. This squad certainly has enough talent to drag itself out of the position that it is currently in, but it is hard to see how with Bruce at the helm.
In other West Brom news, Chris Lepkowski has scolded what he brands as a “rancid, horrible bunch” that have made the Baggies dressing room toxic.
