Chris Lepkowski shares strong reaction after West Brom result v Luton

Chris Lepkowski has stated brutal facts that these are “desperate times” after West Brom failed to win yet again in the Championship.

The Baggies managed a 0-0 draw against Luton Town at the Hawthorns on Saturday (8 October), and Steve Bruce is under serious pressure to keep his job intact.

West Brom have managed to pick up only one win in 13 games, and they find themselves in the drop zone, 22nd position in the league.

Lepkowski wrote: “Two monarchs, two prime ministers, two Watford managers, 19 [Erling] Halaand goals since last West Brom win. Desperate times.”

Desperate times

During the match, the fans directed toxic chants towards Steve Bruce and the club owners.

Bruce, however, is adamant that he can turn it around. He suggests that he has seen fighting spirits in his players and that they are giving everything on the pitch.

If that’s the scenario, it means that’s the maximum Bruce can extract from this squad. And that is simply not good enough.

This West Brom squad is good enough to compete with top teams. They don’t deserve to be fighting at the bottom.

Bruce needs to go. His antediluvian tactics are useless in modern football.

West Brom

He doesn’t seem to have any idea how to turn it around, and in the process, the Baggies are constantly heading in a spiral downwards.

Bruce was brought in to take the club to the Premiership. Given his experience, he should have at least taken the club to mid-table. But the reality is something else.

The Baggies are winless in their last eight games, and they can’t even pick up wins at home. The place has become toxic, and it’s time for him to go.

In other West Brom news, Chris Lepkowski has scolded what he brands as a “rancid, horrible bunch” that have made the Baggies dressing room toxic.
