Erik Pieters likes message saying West Brom need to sack Steve Bruce
Erik Pieters has liked a message on Instagram saying West Brom need to sack Steve Bruce after their goalless draw with Luton Town on Saturday.
Pieters, 34, joined the Albion on a free transfer last month and has played all 90 minutes in three of the last four Championship matches.
After the draw with Luton on 8 October, he took to Instagram to say the result was “a small step in the right direction”.

Instagram user WBA.TV replied to Pieter’s post saying: “It’s not a step in away direction mate, you played well but Bruce needs to go!”
Pieters then liked that message.
Intentional?
There’s every chance Pieters only liked that message because he saw the middle bit.
WBA.TV was clearly disagreeing with what Pieters said about the result being a positive one – it most certainly was not.
But Pieters was also praised for his display as he helped the Baggies keep a clean sheet.
But those clean sheets are useless if the team isn’t scoring goals.
There’s not one player who can hold their hand up and saying they’re doing enough right now.
Sure, there are players like Grady Diangana and Jedd Wallace, who are performing better than most of their teammates.
But even they need to admit that they are not doing enough right now.
It’s the ownership, it’s the board, it’s the manager, it’s the coaching staff and it’s the players.
All of them are letting West Bromwich Albion down. All of them could do better and fans have rightly had enough.
It’s criminal that Bruce hasn’t been sacked yet.
Ron Gourlay needs to act otherwise we could find ourselves rooted at the bottom of the Championship table very soon because we look absolutely rudderless right now.
In other West Brom news, video footage shows Bruce confronting a fan after the defeat at Preston.
