Rob Edwards now likely to be considered by West Brom in new manager hunt
Rob Edwards is now set to be considered by West Brom as they look for a new manager this week, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported on its website that alongside the Welshman, Carlos Corberan and Chris Wilder are also on the list at The Hawthorns.
Ron Gourlay is said to have been reluctant to let Steve Bruce go after his sacking on Monday [10 October], but was left with no choice after his shocking season continued.

Edwards, like Corberan and Wilder would be available for nothing given that all three are currently out of work after their latest roles ended in the sack too.
After leaving Forest Green to join the Hornets after years of success, it didn’t quite work out for the 39-year-old, who has ties to both Wolves and Aston Villa.
Corberan looks to be ahead of those two and the main focus point as things stand though, with the Spaniard being dismissed at Olympiakos after only two months.

New approach.
Gourlay may be attempting to throw out the boat here, or at least as much as he can.
We are already seeing younger names linked with the available post such as Edwards, Corberan and even Gary Rowett, albeit not exactly fresh, but compared to Bruce.
Something has to give in this manager hunt, with the same road travelled down far too many times in recent years, where the club have brought an older man in just because they have been promoted before.
Football is changing, the way forward now is that younger man with brave philosophies on and off the ball, not the same old rubbish we have been forced to watch for years.
Could Edwards deliver that? He could, but so could Corberan who proved during his time at Huddersfield that his time with Marcelo Bielsa worked a treat.
More names are popping up by the day, with more twists and turns still expected.
In other West Brom news, speculation is only set to increase surrounding one name as the Baggies job is now available
