Richard Beale will face media ahead of West Brom v Millwall – Confirmed

West Brom have confirmed that Richard Beale will conduct the press conference on Thursday morning ahead of the Championship clash with Millwall.

The Express and Star reporter has shared the news that has come from the club at The Hawthorns, with the manager hunt looking like it will drag on.

Carlos Corberan appears to be the name on the lips of everyone, although the likes of Jody Morris have come into the spotlight as Ron Gourlay looks to make his decision.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Cox shared the confirmed plans ahead of the next Baggies trip to The New Den over the weekend.

“We’ve had it confirmed Richard Beale will conduct tomorrow morning’s pre-Millwall press conference,” he wrote.

No appointment.

So, it looks as though this will drag into next week now.

Beale would not take the press conference and give updates on the team if he wasn’t going to take charge of the next game, and that may as well be confirmed.

Millwall has never been an easy trip for the Baggies, so if that continues this weekend, there will likely be big questions to be asked with no clear plan in place.

Despite Steve Bruce being on the chopping block for months with multiple months, Gourlay sat by and let it happen without having a list of names prepared and ready to go.

The likes of Corberan have been available for months but yet it took nearly a week for things to be accelerated as we sit in the relegation zone of the Premier League.

Beale needs to find a positive result here to throw this squad into a new manager, with confidence surely at an all-time low if another defeat comes our way.
