West Brom interim coach Richard Beale wants winning feeling once more v Millwall

West Brom interim coach Richard Beale wants to end his tenure in charge of the club with a win against Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

Beale has taken charge of Albion since they sacked Steve Bruce and has a mixed bag of results, an emphatic win over Reading and a disastrous loss against Bristol City.

Beale admitted it would be “amazing” to top off his time with another win and thinks six points out of a possible nine would be a solid showing.

“If we can get six points out of nine then in the Championship that is a good week and that’s the aim,” said Beale as quoted by the Express and Star.

“It’s been good, full of rich experiences, we’ve experienced the highs and lows and it would be amazing to top it off with another high because that feeling was second-to-none last Saturday.

“That’s what the club needs, most importantly, that’s what the fans deserve and the fans want.”

Morris?

Onwards and upwards for the Baggies as they go into the Millwall game needing some much-needed three points.

It seems the Albion may have finally found their man to replace Bruce in ex-Chelsea coach Jody Morris but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

They need to get a move on in doing so sooner rather than later, West Brom’s season hangs in the balance and any chance at rectifying it lies with their new coach to be.

It’s been two years since Morris left Chelsea and whilst he may be a shrewd bit of business, he’s still an unknown quantity.

He’d bring a positive outlook to the youth at the club if he was to join, however, and this may be why the Baggies are eyeing him up for their main role.

Morris would have the huge task of not only taking West Brom out of the relegation zone but guiding them to a promotion-pushing finish.

In other West Brom news, as doors start closing the Albion job looms increasingly large for Sean Dyche.
