West Brom wonder Jamie Andrews joins Yeovil Town on short-term loan deal
West Brom midfielder Jamie Andrews has joined National League side Yeovil Town on a short-term loan deal, as confirmed by the club this week.
The youngster will go straight into Yeovil’s squad for the Tuesday evening [01 November] clash against Woking and will be hoping for some regular playing time.
Andrews admitted he’s keen to get “grafting” and prove himself within the Yeovil setup after having some good conversations with manager Mark Cooper.
“It feels great to be here. I wanted to come and experience playing in front of the fans and grafting to get those three points, I just can’t wait to get started,” said the youngster speaking to Gloverscast.
“The manager and I had a few good conversations where he said what my role would be. He wants me to come in and add some more legs, something which I’m happy to do; I’ll run up and down the pitch all day.”

Talent.
Andrews is one of a host of top talents who have emerged from West Brom’s classy youth system as of late and will now be looking to push on in his professional career.
The midfielder was part of Albion’s PL Cup-winning team last season and joins a Yeovil side fighting for their lives in the National League.
Yeovil currently sit in 21st place in the table and this will be a good test of character for Andrews, a great learning curve to be a part of so early on in his career.
The youngster will certainly add some creative flair to the National League sides engine room and has a left-foot laserbeam that will get fans excited.
He’s already produced four assists this campaign for West Brom’s Under-21 side in the Premier League 2 alongside two goals.
Andrews will take the number 18 shirt at Yeovil and will hopefully come back to the Baggies with a wealth of experience.
