West Brom confirmed starting XI v Stoke City in Championship
Carlos Corberan has named his West Brom starting XI for the Championship clash against Stoke City on Saturday 12th November.
After back-to-back 1-0 wins over QPR and Blackpool, the Baggies arrive in fine form and have the chance to jump out of the relegation zone if they claim three points and other results go their way.
West Brom announced their starting line-up on Twitter, with Corberan making two changes to the side who defeated high-fliers QPR last week.
Brandon Thomas-Asante comes in for Grady Diangana up front, while Conor Townsend replaces Erik Pieters in defence.
Stoke City will travel to the West Midlands with manager Alex Neil hoping to eradicate individual errors which have plagued the Potters this season.
His Stoke side has now won four and lost four of their last eight games, proving themselves an unpredictable team to predict, similar to the Albion.
Rebuild
Carlos Corberan will be extremely pleased with his start for the Black Country outfit, having kept consecutive clean sheets and picking up six points from his three outings in the dugout.
Kyle Bartley’s second-half header was enough to claim a brilliant win over Michael Beale’s promotion contenders and end a tough patch of form for the 31-year-old defender, who has faced a barrage of recent criticism from Baggies fans.

West Brom will have to be at their best defensively to keep out The Potters, who will travel with ex-Baggies forward Dwight Gayle and Manchester City loanee Liam Delap in the squad, both of whom have proven themselves potent finishers infront of goal.
Both forwards were also linked with West Brom in the summer before the club went on to sign Thomas-Asante from Salford City instead.
With the World Cup winter break coming directly after this encounter against Stoke, Corberan will be looking to claim three points before spending some time with his squad with an aim to ascend the table in the New Year.
