Daryl Dike wowed by ‘ridiculous’ Brandon Thomas-Asante goal in West Brom win v Stoke
West Brom climbed out of the relegation zone on Saturday (12 November) thanks to a 2-0 win over Stoke City at The Hawthorns.
Kyle Bartley scored for the second game running before Brandon Thomas-Asante produced a moment of pure genius to acrobatically double the Baggies’ lead and make the points safe.
Fellow striker Daryl Dike also returned to first-team action after spending months out through injury already this season and he was amazed at the 23-year-old’s wonder goal.
“Naaaa this goal was ridiculous,” the American International said on Instagram in reply to Thomas-Asante’s post after the final whistle.
Manchester City youth player Ben Knight, Albion goalkeeper Alex Palmer and Okay Yokuslu were also among the players to heap praise on Thomas-Asante in the replies to his post.

Thomas-Asante has had to be very patient at The Hawthorns since his late summer move from Salford City but he is now getting his just rewards for all of that.
