Brandon Thomas-Asante reveals he can reach another level at West Brom after adaption phase
West Brom striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has spoken out on the steep learning curve he has faced at The Hawthorns since his summer move and still believes he has room for improvement.
The 23-year-old has been a bright spark in an otherwise disappointing Baggies campaign, after moving to the midlands from Salford City this summer.
Thomas-Asante was brought by former boss Steve Bruce for £300,000 from the League 2 outfit and has recently found his scoring boots following an indifferent start to Championship life.

The striker is currently away with the first-team squad in their warm-weather training camp in Spain and lined up beside Daryl Dike in a friendly against Elche on Friday (2 December).
As reported by Express and Star, the striker said: “It’s been a lot of adaptation but I’ve been hoping for this opportunity for a while and I’ve believed I could do my best at this level.
“It has definitely taken time to get used to things and the tempo of play, the environment is different as well, but more than anything, all the players and staff at the club have made it really positive for me and allowed me to improve.
“I know there is a lot to do but I’m grateful and it’s been alright.”

Ever-improving
Thomas-Asante right not have hit the ground running in the Championship, but it was always going to be tough considering the level he was previously playing at.
Jumping up two leagues in one summer would be a tough ask for anybody, let alone at a big club such as West Brom, so the best is yet to come.
The Championship is a brutal and unrelenting league, so Thomas-Asante must be patient as he searches for his fluent best.
The former MK Dons graduate has three goals to his name since August, including his stunning bicycle kick against Stoke to sign off a remarkable few weeks since the arrival of Carlos Corberan.
At just 23, and tasting his first season of Championship football, this was always going to be a signing for future seasons.
With USA international Dike returning to full fitness and likely to partner him up front, West Brom fans will be rightly waiting in giddy anticipation for the return of Championship action.
In other West Brom news, Kevin Campbell predicts Carlos Corberan’s side can kick on after the Spain training camp.
