West Brom striker Daryl Dike drops hints about first-team return v Sunderland
West Brom will resume their Championship season on Monday (12 December) away to Sunderland, and Daryl Dike could make his long-due comeback.
The 22-year-old appeared to have dropped a major hint that he could feature in that game after he shared the club’s matchday preview post on his Instagram story.
He has already returned to full fitness and Carlos Corberan confirmed the player could be in contention to start against Sunderland.

The warm weather training camp in Spain was crucial in the re-integration of Dike and Semi Ajayi after their long injury lay-off.
The Baggies are 21st in the Championship but they have shown signs of improvement under Corberan in recent weeks prior to the World Cup break.
West Brom have picked up three wins in a row, and Corberan should look to keep the winning momentum going.
Dike has gone through a hellish spell of injuries at the Hawthorns, and it’s time for him to show his true class.
He is a fantastic finisher but it could take some time for him to get used to full-match fitness.
It will be interesting to see if Corberan develops a strike partnership of Dike and Brandon Thomas-Asante, with the latter hitting a rich vein of form before the World Cup break.
On paper, the front line should do wonders in the Championship, given the quality of the two players, but let’s not get carried away.
