Chris Lepkowski blown away by West Brom duo as footage emerges from Sunderland win

Chris Lepkowski was gushing over West Brom duo Daryl Dike and Jed Wallace as they combined for the winner against Sunderland on 12 December.

The Baggies came back from a goal down to pick up three points as Carlos Corberan’s men won by a 2-1 scoreline.

Wallace nailed in a pinpoint cross which Dike headed home to score the winner a few minutes after coming off the bench.

Reacting to the goal, Lepkowski wrote on Twitter, “What a good goal. Stunning cross, better header. Christ on a Dike.”

Wonderful

This team is already sending out messages that they’re never going to say die and will fight until the final whistle.

It took a few games, but Corberan has imprinted his mark on this side and the players have responded terrifically to him.

Dike’s been an injury worry since his move to Hawthorns but he now seems to be back to normal and certainly looks like the real deal for the Baggies.

We cannot wait to see him getting a more consistent run of games under Corberan and whenever he’s fit, West Brom are undoubtedly a goal threat.

The Hawthorns faithful will be waiting for him to shine in front of them now as there was plenty of hype surrounding his acquisition.

They now have Rotherham next as they’ve moved to 17th place in the Championship table and surely will be thinking of making the play-offs now.

In other West Brom news, Chris Lepkowski has addressed rumours of the Baggies going into administration after what happened recently.
