Sky Sports pundit: Carlos Corberan will exploit Daryl Dike strengths at West Brom
We’re delighted to welcome former West Brom striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Hawthorns…
Kevin Campbell has lofty expectations of Daryl Dike after he marked his West Brom return with a winning goal against Sunderland on Monday night.
After persistent injury problems all season, Dike returned to the West Brom squad on Monday and came off of the bench to secure a 2-1 win over Sunderland.
The 22-year-old striker signed for the Baggies back in January under Valerien Ismael but made just one start before suffering a serious injury and spending the majority of the season in the treatment room.

Having now returned to full fitness, Carlos Corberan will be hoping the American forward can fire his Albion side up the Championship table – Campbell is certainly predicting big things in the second half of the season.
Speaking exclusively to West Brom News, Campbell said: “I think he’s going to be really important.
“You can see West Brom had a bit of momentum before the break, they’ve built on that momentum after the break and Dike seems to be a key component to what the manager wants to do.
“We know what he can do, we know his traits and his qualities.
“West Brom are going to look to exploit those, and if they can he has a big second half of the season to come.“

If Dike can stay fit, he’s already shown Corberan he has what it takes to lead the line for the Baggies. Thankfully, Corberan has both Brandon Thomas-Asante and Karlan Grant to provide extra firepower up front if needed.
Rotation will be key for the Spaniard as he looks to navigate a hectic second half of the season. Dike definitely has a big part to play in what is looking more and more like a late playoff push.
