West Brom confirm starting XI for clash v Bristol City
West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for their Championship fixture with Bristol City on December 26 with two changes made.
Carlos Corberan has decided to make two changes to his starting XI with Jayson Molumby and Daryl Dike coming into the team to start.
As confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, Corberan brought back star forward Daryl Dike to the starting lineup, dropping Bryan Thomas-Asante and Tom Rogic from the starting XI.
Classy Corberan.
Corberan began his coaching career in Spain, working as an assistant coach for various clubs including UD Almeria, CD Tenerife, and Real Madrid Castilla.
In 2017, he was appointed head coach of UD Las Palmas in the Spanish Segunda Division, where he spent two seasons before moving to Huddersfield Town in 2019.
As a coach, Corberan is known for his focus on tactical organisation and his use of data analysis to inform his decision-making.
Under his leadership, West Brom has made significant progress in terms of their on-field performance, and the team seem to be responding to the Spaniard well.
With some reinforcements hopefully made in January, Corberan will be able to take the Baggies to the next level, in terms of competing in the Championship.
It will be a tough ask to reach the Play-Offs this campaign, but stranger things have happened, whatever the case, itโs just nice to see the Albion playing some better football.
