West Brom fans group Action 4 Albion plan to adopt new strategy

West Brom fans group Action 4 Albion have been pushing and prodding the club’s hierarchy in recent months and are now promising to do more.

The group led a white paper protest during the club’s 2-0 win over Preston North End on December 29 at The Hawthorns.

Now Action 4 Albion are planning a different “strategy” for the fixture against Reading on January 2 after taking on feedback from Baggies fans.

“Evening fellow Baggies. Given the reaction to the white paper protest last night and having read all the feedback from everyone in the Action4Albion group, we have agreed to adopt a different strategy from the sit-in planned for after the Reading game on Monday 2nd January ‘23,” announced the group on Twitter.

“We feel there could be better support for a protest in the East Stand car park. Immediately after the final whistle fans are asked to make their way to the car park to congregate.”

Keep going.

The peaceful protests organised by Action 4 Albion are extremely admirable and more needs to be done to get their voices heard.

Groups like this taking a stand are the only way the club’s hierarchy will be challenged for their shady misdealings and dodgy loans.

It’s simply fans caring about the club they love and not wanting to see it run by parties who aren’t interested in the slightest about where it ends up.

Corberan’s fantastic appointment shouldn’t cloud fans’ eyes to what really is going on in the upper echelons of the club and now the Baggies are playing well on the pitch that needs to be matched up top.

A Play-Off push and potential Premier League promotion will, unfortunately, take fans’ minds off how Guochuan Lai and his running of the club in recent years.

Let’s hope by that point some form of resolution is made who the Chinese businessmen to leave the team behind, this can’t go on for much longer.
