ITV pundit Sam Parkin waxes lyrical over West Brom after win v Reading
Sam Parkin waxed lyrical over the current form of West Brom after the Baggies won yet another game under Carlos Corberan against Reading on January 2.
Daryl Dike grabbed the winner on the day with a sublime headed finish, one which sent the Albion into 9th place in the Championship table.
Parkin confessed that the run the Baggies are currently on is “incredible” and applauded the team’s squad depth, as footage unfolded on ITV’s English Football League highlights show.

“In all departments at the moment West Brom, just the two penalties conceded, in this run of nine, incredible,” said Parkin on ITV’s English Football League Highlights show on 2 January (23:00).
“Having a proper striker all of a sudden, which was a big question mark early part of the season, the way Dike attacked that ball was first-class, loads of options, yeah they’re looking incredibly strong.”

Premier League ambitions.
With an upturn in form and results, the Premier League is starting to look less illusive by the day, can the Baggies turn it around come the end of the season?
They’re certainly playing like a team who can and their terrific and confident displays as of late are making the Albion dream of the English top flight.
Obviously, fans shouldn’t get too carried away with themselves just yet, but it’s hard not to get excited over recent results on the pitch.
Carlos Corberan has got the team ticking again and the squad that looked utterly useless under Steve Bruce is looking like a finely tuned outfit under the Spaniard.
Just imagine where the team would be if Ron Gourlay had gotten rid of his mate Bruce when he was supposed to, something suggests the Baggies would be in an automatic position right now.
However the season ends, after starring relegation in the face, it will be nice to see West Brom at least challenge for a Play-Off spot.
