West Brom boss Carlos Corberan shares if he has received offers from Spanish clubs
West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has suggested in an interview with Mundo Deportivo that there is “interest” from Spanish clubs, but he is happy at the Hawthorns.
The Spanish publication has hailed him as a “miracle” technician, and they asked him when he will be returning to Spain, to which Corberan says that it’s not solely down to him.
The Spaniard took charge of the Baggies in October when they were struggling toward the bottom of the league, and now they are dreaming of promotion after a magical turnaround.

“That doesn’t depend solely on me. I feel happy to be able to dedicate myself to this and what I long for is to continue doing this,” said Corberan to Mundo Deportivo [8 January, page 18].
When asked if he has received any recent offers from Spain, he added: “I already had the opportunity to coach a Second team and it is always appreciated that there is interest. It is a reason to be satisfied.”
Miracle man
Corberan has sparked a fresh hope at the Hawthorns after an impressive turnaround.
Only a few months ago, the Baggies were teetering on the verge of relegation and there was no hope at all under Steve Bruce.
However, what has happened in the last two months is simply amazing. The Baggies have won eight out of their nine games in the league, and they are now only four points behind third-placed Blackburn Rovers.
Getting into the Premier League is a must for the Baggies amid their recent financial situation, and Corberan is the only hope for the club.

At the moment, it doesn’t look likely that he will leave the Baggies anytime soon unless he gets an offer from a top La Liga club.
West Brom face league leaders Burnley in their next game in the Championship, and if they can manage a win, it will only reflect on the improvement the club has made under the Spaniard.
In other West Brom news, this player could now be in the shadows in the Midlands, though, after the emergence of two key assets to Corberan’s style of play.
