West Brom predicted XI v Luton Town: Carlos Corberan to ring changes after FA Cup disappointment
Carlos Corberan could look to go berzerk with his axe for the West Brom Championship fixture against Luton Town on 14 January.
Corberan is expected to revert back to his tried and tested Baggies team after the club’s woeful FA Cup outing against Chesterfield.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Corberan make a grand total of 11 changes to the team that drew against Chesterfield, with mainstays like Okay Yokuşlu and Dara O’Shea returning to his starting XI.

Palmer should retain his spot in between the sticks for the Albion, he’s become Corberan’s tried and tested pair of gloves in recent outings and looks every bit a top goalkeeper.
Corberan will likely opt for his usual back four lineup of Conor Townsend, O’Shea, Eric Pieters and Darnell Furlong, it’s served him well in the Championship so far and there’s little reason to change that up; it will be nice to see the back of his makeshift defence of Zac Ashworth, Semi Ajayi, Martin Kelly and Taylor Gardner-Hickman.
Jed Wallace, John Swift, Jayson Molumby, Matt Phillips and Yokuşlu should make up Corberan’s midfield four replacing Adam Reach, Jake Livermore and Grady Diangana. It could be argued that Molumby is in with a shout of a start but we’re opting for Rogic to keep his spot.
Daryl Dike should return to the starting XI to replace the suspended Brandon Thomas-Asante up top for the Albion, Thomas-Asante will miss the next three games for West Brom.
Predicted line-up: Palmer; Furlong, Pieters, O’Shea, Townsend, Molumby, Yokuslu, Phillips, Swift, Wallace; Dike.
In other West Brom news, pundit Kevin Campbell is delighted by Kyle Bartley’s contract extension at the club.
