West Brom in hunt to sign Brighton striker Deniz Undav, Sunderland also keen
West Brom are one of a number of Sky Bet Championship clubs in the hunt to sign Brighton and Hove Albion striker Denis Undav this month, according to Football League World.
The German forward has cut a peripheral figure in the high-flying Seagulls team under Roberto De Zerbi, clocking just under 100 minutes of Premier League football under his belt this campaign.
Although, the player has featured more prominently in cup competitions for Brighton, bagging two goals in four starts, most recently against high-flying Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.

And according to Football League World [18 January] the 26-year-old could well be on the move to the English second-tier this month, with the Baggies holding an interest as well as Sunderland, Norwich City, Millwall and Blackburn Rovers.
Get Him In
The Baggies will need attacking reinforcements this month, especially with the number of suspensions and injury worries they are currently facing.
Brandon Thomas-Asante is facing a three-match suspension by the FA, and Karlan Grant is potentially out with an injury worry along with Kenneth Zohore which means they have only Daryl Dike to call upon in the striking positions.

With the Baggies pushing for promotion to the Premier League, adding some much needed firepower to the squad will be paramount.
And that is why Carlos Corberan cannot allow Undav to join his promotions rivals this month. West Brom must be at the front of the queue for his signature if they are serious about their aspirations.
With some much-needed game-time and opportunities under his belt, the 26-year-old could well prove an invaluable addition to the Baggies attack and potentially lead them to the Premier League promised land ahead of the likes of Blackburn and Sunderland.
Get him in.
In other West Brom news, a journalist was blown away by this special strike from a Baggies favourite in the 4-0 rout against Chesterfield in the FA Cup.
