West Brom complete signing of Eseosa Sule after Celtic accept offer
West Brom have sealed the signing of Celtic youngster Eseosa Sule on a professional contract, according to the Daily Record (26 January).
The Baggies have moved to snap up the 16-year-old forward who was expected to break through at Parkhead after shining in their youth ranks.
But despite signing a professional contract with Celtic in the summer, West Brom have had an offer accepted from the Scottish champions and the player has travelled to the Midlands to ink a deal with his new club.

“West Brom have snapped up talented young Celtic striker Eseosa Sule,” they wrote (26 January, 14:14).
“The 16-year-old striker had been tipped to make an impact at Parkhead after coming through their youth ranks to sign his first professional contract in the summer.
“But Scots-born Sule, who has Nigerian parents, has opted to move to the English Championship after Celtic accepted an offer from West Brom.
“The teenager travelled south this afternoon to put pen to paper on a deal that will see him join the Midlands outfit.”
Excellent
After having our youth products snatched by Aston Villa so often in recent months and seasons, it’s great that we’re able to bring in these talents.
West Brom have been on the up in recent months after the arrival of Carlos Corberan and after looking like we’d be battling relegation this season, we’re now on the edge of a playoff push at the halfway point of the season.

Premier League football is not out of our reach in the near future and that will help us be able to secure top young talents like Sule more regularly.
At just 16 we’re unlikely to see him soon, but the club has shown that there is a pathway for young players to shine here and break into the first-team.
Sule will now follow the likes of Taylor Gardner-Hickman, Zac Ashworth and Cleary Reyes at the Hawthorns and fans can be excited about what he will bring to the side in the future.
In other West Brom news, Corberan is watching loanees with a decision to be made on their future at the club.
