West Brom transfer for Nathaniel Chalobah now ‘done’ – Alex Crook
Nathaniel Chalobah has completed his move to West Brom on transfer deadline day, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.
The Baggies have been looking for more reinforcements in midfield during the winter window as a back up to both Okay Yokuslu and Jayson Molumby, following Carlos Corberan’s incredible turnaround since taking the job at the Hawthorns.
And a deal with Premier League club Fulham is now complete after the 28-year-old took his medical earlier on Tuesday morning (31 January).

The midfielder has fallen out of favour at Craven Cottage this season and has therefore been given the green light for an exit during this winter window.
TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook tweeted (Tuesday 31 January): “Nathaniel Chalobah from Fulham to West Brom is done.
“Decent pick-up for them.”
Much-needed
Chalobah can add some much needed depth to Corberan’s side, and could become a very useful player as the season goes on.
If the Baggies are really serious about challenging for Championship promotion this season, they can’t rely on the same two midfielders to get them there, and Chalobah will add that extra bit of competition to proceedings.
Jake Livermore has been a shadow of his former self this season and his exit from the club is now all but confirmed with this signing.
The Fulham midfielders addition should in turn free up Tom Rogic and John Swift in more advanced positions and therefor help to unlock more goals as the season draws to a close.
This is a great coup for the Baggies, and Chalobah will be hungry to revive his otherwise stuttering career at the Hawthorns. What an exciting start to transfer deadline day this is, and the club will hope to add another addition before the 11pm cutoff time on Tuesday evening.
In other West Brom news, Celtic have accepted an offer from the Baggies for this January signing.
