Karlan Grant dropped – Confirmed West Brom XI v Coventry
Carlos Corberan has named a strong West Brom starting line-up against Coventry at the Hawthorns on Friday (3 February) in the Championship.
The Baggies will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after two defeats in a row in all competitions. They suffered a 3-0 loss against Bristol City in the FA Cup last Saturday (28 January).
Via Twitter, West Brom have shared the playing eleven for this game with Corberan making as many as four changes from the previous game.
Marc Albrighton, who joined on the deadline day, has started the game. Eric Pieters, Conor Townsend and Grady Diangana have also been included.
Senior player Karlan Grant has been dropped to the bench. The likes of Adam Reach, Tom Rogic and Semi Ajayi have been left out.
Three points
West Brom must look to secure all three points against Coventry.
Corberan will be very disappointed with the manner of the defeat in the FA Cup, but the Baggies must return to winning ways.
They lost their last Championship game against Burnley 2-1, and a strong performance is needed here.
West Brom were active in the closing stages of the transfer window. They remained silent throughout the window, but they managed to secure a couple of deals.

The Baggies needed to sign a midfielder last month, and they were heavily linked with a move for Lewis O’Brien, a player Corberan knows from his time at Huddersfield.
In the end, they managed to pull off a deal for Nathaniel Chalobah who joined from Fulham.
The club also managed to land Marc Albrighton. The 33-year-old is a Premier League winner, and he will add tremendous quality to the side.
West Brom are 10th in the table with 41 points, four points behind third-placed Middlesbrough.
In other West Brom news, a big money blow derailed another January deal that looked like getting done.
