Business as usual at West Brom as Andrea Radrizzani tweets amid Carlos Corberan-to-Leeds United speculation
Carlos Corberan and West Brom are continuing their business as usual despite the Spaniard being heavily linked with the Leeds United job, according to talkSPORT.
Leeds’ owner Andrea Radrizzani suggested (via Twitter, 7 February) the club were closing in on their managerial appointment, with “white smoke” due either on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
TalkSPORT claim (7 February) Corberan is “being eyed” by the Yorkshire giants, but it’s believed the West Brom are continuing with business as usual ahead of their Friday night Championship clash against Birmingham City.

Worrying times
These are really concerning times for Baggies fans. Corberan has worked wonders since arriving at The Hawthorns and would be pretty much impossible to replace. Fans wouldn’t blame him for leaving as well, particularly with West Brom’s current financial situation.
Leeds have invested heavily and are looking to climb up the Premier League table, furthermore, he also has previous history with the Yorkshire side. The one positive for the Baggies is that business appears to be continuing as normal in the West Midlands.

It’s clear no official approach has been made for the Spaniard, and until that happens it’s unlikely he will be going anywhere. The upcoming fixture against Birmingham is another golden opportunity for Albion to cement their position in the top six.
There are a number of sides that are congested at the top end of the table and it’s absolutely essential for Albion to keep putting points on the board. For now, it appears their boss is staying put, and fans will be hoping that remains the same for the trip to St Andrew’s.
In other West Brom news, a defender may never feature for the club again after what happened recently and may even leave for free.
