Manchester United want to sign West Brom midfielder Jamal Jimoh
West Brom Under-16 starlet Jamal Jimoh is being lined up by Manchester United for a move to join their Under-18 squad next season, according to The Secret Scout.
The central midfielder is a highly-thought of prospect within the Baggies youth system and has represented England at U15s and 16s levels.
This isn’t the first time Jimoh has attracted interest from a Premier League juggernaut, with the Sun reporting on 22 February 2022 that Chelsea and Manchester City were interested in his signature.
“Understand Manchester United have identified West Brom’s U16 Jamal Jimoh for their under 18s next season as they aim to add a centre midfielder to the group,” said The Secret Scout on Twitter to their 99,000 followers, including Fabrizio Romano. (9 February, 5:44 PM)

Dynamo.
It’s clear that Jimoh is destined for big things in the professional game, especially with interest coming from the likes of United, City and Chelsea.
Having domestic talents within your squad is the new craze in England and it would be wise for the Albion to try and keep onto Jimoh for as long as possible.
Keeping top academy prospects at the club will always be a tough challenge when you’re still playing in the Championship with Premier League teams ultimately offering more attractive packages.
The glitz and glamour of Old Trafford and the Premier League may be too hard for the youngster to ignore but hopefully, this is something West Brom can offer him soon.
And with financial constraints likely to headlock West Brom in future transfer windows, the reliance on strong youth talents coming through the ranks has never been more crucial.
This may be where the team will have to get the cream of their talents as things stand, fortunately, the notoriously good Baggies youth system isn’t short of eye-catching prospects like Jimoh.
In other West Brom news, Albion pulled the plug on a late loan signing on deadline day.
