Carlos Corberan reacts to Ken Sema interview after West Brom loss v Watford
Carlos Corberan took to Twitter to praise Watford forward Ken Sema after he courageously underwent a post-match interview last night after their 3-2 win over West Brom despite suffering from a stammer.
The talented Swede bagged either side of Ismaila Sarr’s strike to help the Hornets to a vital 3-2 win over West Brom at Vicarage Road.
After his heroic display in front of the club fans, Sema bravely stepped up for an interview despite suffering with a stammer.
And Corberan took to his personal Twitter account [21 February] to praise the player’s bravery in the face of a difficult personal battle.
He tweeted: “In football, as in life, facing up to difficulties makes us stronger. The bravery to tackle challenges inspires a lot of people.”
Great to see
So many people of public attention who struggle with a stammer find it incredibly difficult to face up to public speaking or even partaking in interviews but Sema showcased tremendous bravery and courage to go for it anyway.
The Swede’s actions and courage will indeed inspire a whole host of people who suffer from the same disability, and it is great to see the player isn’t afraid to reveal himself publicly with the condition.

Sema deserves grand respect and admiration for his willingness to do the interview, and hopefully, several other footballers who may suffer from the same impediment can be inspired by the player’s bravery.
It was indeed a tremendous individual showing from the Swede which compounded the Baggies to another disappointing defeat, but that certainly didn’t stop Corberan from publicly expressing his admiration and praise for the forward. Great to see.
In other West Brom news, a Baggies legend hailed the decision to snub Premier League advances.
