West Brom transfer news as agent confirms Eseosa Sule switch from Celtic
The agent of talented youngster Eseosa Sule has seemingly confirmed the centre-forward’s transfer to West Brom from Celtic on Twitter today. (21 February)
The Daily Record reported on 26 January that Celtic had accepted an offer from West Brom for the talented wonder who was expected to break through the ranks at Parkhead.
Sule signed his first professional contract with Celtic in the summer, nevertheless, his agent has posted a picture of the pair together at The Hawthorns today holding up a West Brom shirt.
The 16-year-old is a highly-rated prospect and will provide some food for thought within the extremely talented Baggies youth ranks.
It’s unclear how much the Albion paid for the services of Sule but it’s likely Celtic will be compensated over time depending on how well the youngster fares at the club.

Path to follow.
It’s highly unlikely that fans will see Sule in Carlos Corberan’s first team anytime soon, however, the youngster has a set path he can follow to achieve his Baggies dreams.
Sule can look towards the likes of Taylor Gardner-Hickman, Zac Ashworth and Reyes Cleary at The Hawthorns and see that first-team chances may be possible at some point.
Whether the teenager will be part of a Premier League setup next season is up for debate however, with the Baggies losing ground yet again on 20 February in a 3-2 defeat to Watford.
This leaves the Albion in 10th place in the Championship table and this sticky patch of form for Corberan and co hasn’t been pleasant viewing.
And it doesn’t get much easier for West Brom, with high-flying Middlesbrough visiting The Hawthorns on 25 February in a must-win clash for Corberan.
Fortunately, the top half of the Championship is still extremely tight and there are plenty of games left for the Albion to push themselves into playoff contention.
In other West Brom news, a defender may never feature for the club again after what happened recently and may even leave for free.
