West Brom: Action For Albion accepted as bona fide supporters group by FSA
Action For Albion have received “bona fide” acceptance from the FSA (Football Supporters Association) to become a member of the group.
The FSA will now assist the Baggies fan group with funding transparency but it is not yet clear what the money will be going towards.
This is a massive step forward for the fans group who have been pivotal in the fight against West Brom owner Lai Guochuan in recent months.
“We have just received confirmation that Action For Albion has been accepted as a bona fide supporters group by The FSA,” said Action For Albion on Twitter. (23 February, 5:36 PM)
“They will be assisting with funding transparency. Every penny donated will go towards funding as will be outlined.”

Changes needed.
As groups like Action For Albion continue to fight against the powers that be, the news of a new independent football regulator dropping this week will only help matters at West Brom.
Lai continues to wreak havoc at The Hawthorns by missing repayment deadlines and failing to pay up what he owes the club.
Unfortunately, Lai is in a long line of owners in the English game who are currently running clubs into the ground and this is where the independent regulator should help things.
Teams like Derby County have been a stark reminder that it doesn’t matter how big the team or history the club has when it’s being guided by greedy individuals.
Selling West Brom is ultimately the only way out of this mess for Lai but whether or not he chooses to pursue this option is very much up in the air.
With luck, the new regulator will be able to shine more of a light on these matters and some serious action may come into play if this takes place.
