Ally Robertson: West Brom run can be ‘horrible’ ahead of clash v Hull
Ally Robertson has suggested West Brom could struggle during a “horrible” run of fixtures against relegation-threatened sides.
Carlos Corberan’s men face Hull, Wigan, Huddersfield and Cardiff in their next four matches, which, on paper, looks like a good opportunity to put a run of wins together.
However, Robertson has suggested the Baggies could face a tougher time against the lesser teams in the division.

“Our next run of four games is against teams towards the bottom end of the table – but that can be a horrible thing to see as there have been struggles against sides like that. But it gives us a great chance to get back into the top six now we’ve entered March,” said Robertson (Express and Star, 2 March).
“I’m hoping to see us not give any silly goals away.”
Job done
Ten points out of the next 12 available is a requirement. Albion have endured a tough run of fixtures recently, now is the time to cash in and cement their playoff spot. Whilst they’re facing teams near the bottom, their playoff rivals will be taking points off of each other, which could open the door for Corberan’s side.
Albion have an all-important game in hand over their rivals and they could move to within three points of the playoffs with a win. The once congested race for the top six has become spread out slightly. Teams have dropped off and some have kicked on considerably over the last couple of weeks.

Considering the work Corberan has done since arriving at The Hawthorns, it would be a crying shame to see their playoff push dwindle out towards the end of the season.
There’s a real opportunity for the Baggies to gain promotion this season, but to do that, they simply have to pick up at least three wins in their next four fixtures.
In other West Brom news, Albion fans have been urged to look at the bigger picture when it comes to this first-team player.
