Jed Wallace shares ‘massive’ Millwall verdict ahead of West Brom showdown after international break
By Louis Dutton
Player of the season contender Jed Wallace believes that the international break could be just what the “tired” West Brom need as they battle for a place in the play-off positions.
With the Baggies just five points off the play-offs, and with a game in hand over sixth-placed Millwall, there is still plenty of hope amongst supporters that they can cement their place in the coveted positions.
Wallace believes that the club has suffered from tiredness in recent weeks, mainly due to the recent increase in injuries in the team, and that a two-week break could prove decisive in restoring energy levels amongst players ahead of a crucial time of the season.

As quoted by the Express & Star, the ex-Millwall winger said: “It’s still not over. I know we’re needed a certain amount of wins in the games remaining, we have nine games to get seven wins which we have done this season before. It was disappointing (Cardiff) but I think there are a lot of tired squads around the Championship and the EFL at the moment.”
“Ours is certainly one, we’ve had a lot of injuries, but hopefully we get a couple of people back over the next couple of weeks going into what will be a massive game against Millwall at The Hawthorns.”

A reunion with his old side awaits for Wallace
To make matters even more exciting ahead of the mouth-watering six-pointer clash at home to Millwall, the game will see Wallace come face to face with his old teammates for the second time since departing The Den for West Brom last summer.
The previous encounter in October saw Millwall come out on top as Tyler Burey’s 90th-minute winner sealed a 2-1 win.
The winger can expect a hostile reception from the away end as he prepares to face his old employers, with supporters still upset over his departure from the London club, having been a cult figure amongst the Millwall faithful.
A win for Carlos Corberan’s men would move them three points behind Millwall with a game in hand over their promotion-chasing rivals, raising the stakes going into the meeting of the two.
According to BirminghamLive, a supercomputer believes that the Baggies have a 30 per cent chance of finding in the play-off, and just a ten per cent chance of achieving promotion.
With the like of Norwich City, Sunderland, and Watford vying with Albion before the end of the season, It promises to be a tense few weeks for fans as they desperately seek a return to the Premier League.
In other West Brom news, the club are open to takeover offers as they away Lai paying back his £5m loan.
