Kean Bryan expected to leave West Brom for good in summer
Kean Bryan is expected to make a permanent exit from The Hawthorns this summer, with West Brom manager Carlos Corberan keen to reshuffle his defensive options at the end of the season, according to BirminghamLive.
The news outlet reports that Corberan will say farewell to the 26-year-old regardless of whether the club get promoted to the Premier League or stay in the Championship.
The unfortunate Bryan has barely featured for the Albion since joining under then-manager Valerien Ismael in September 2021 after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.

The newspaper reports that Bryan isn’t the only defender who could find be under Corberan’s microscope come the end of the campaign. Also under potential consideration will be the likes of Erik Pieters, Cedric Kipre and Caleb Taylor.
“Albion, who are expected to bid farewell to luckless defender Kean Bryan in the summer, have [Dara] O’Shea, Kyle Bartley – who’ll be heading into his final year – and Semi Ajayi as the other natural centre half options, but Corberan could alter that department himself in the summer,” stated BirminghamLive.

The end is near
Bryan has definitely not had the chance to impress at West Brom, with his career completely disrupted by the injury suffered against Hull City early in his spell at the club.
While it will hopefully not be the end of the 26-year-old’s successes on the pitch, it looks set to be his final campaign at the Hawthorns. An end-of-season clearout is seemingly on the cards, and Bryan could well be part of it.
Corberan will have his work cut out for him in the summer, but could use the injury and indeed the fact that he didn’t sign Bryan as viable reasons why the defender will be one of the first out the door.
The Manchester City academy graduate has plenty of experience, having lined out for the Blades in the Premier League not so long ago, with another Championship club perhaps willing to offer him a chance to kickstart his career this summer.
In other West Brom news, the Albion would love to re-sign their £6m former player, but would need to secure promotion to the Premier League to do so.
