West Brom midfielder Jayson Molumby is not likely to feature again for the Baggies until the last game of the campaign, according to Birmingham Live.

As reported by Birmingham Live on 31 March, Carlos Corberan shared that both Molumby and Dara O'Shea had picked up injuries in the Republic of Ireland’s 1-0 defeat to France

While O'Shea is out for the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury, Corberan also revealed that Molumby will be out for the next four weeks with a groin injury, however, according to the latest report it could well be longer than that.

"If Molumby is to feature again this season, it's likely that it'll be on the final day at Swansea", as revealed by Birmingham Live [3 April].

Bleak

The injury to both O’Shea and Molumby couldn’t have come at a worse time for Corberan, who will now have to shuffle his troops and make do without his influential duo for the club’s bleak push for the playoff places.

The Baggies players are dropping like flies, after long-term injuries to both Matt Phillips, Alex Palmer and Grady Diangana, the Spaniard will now have to deal with the absence of two of his most valued and trusted lieutenants which again shows why clubs do not like international breaks.

It certainly comes as a bad time for the Baggies, with their push for promotion already looking bleak as it, sitting five points off the pace.

Certainly, Corberan can still claim an unlikely miracle but with every passing week, it feels like the West Brom attempts are getting weaker, especially with a very depleted squad now at the Spaniard's disposal.

The club definitely need some sort of miracle in the coming weeks.
