Adam Reach ruled out for ‘eight to ten weeks’ as West Brom injury news shared
Carlos Corberan has confirmed that West Brom winger Adam Reach will be out for “eight to ten weeks” in another huge injury blow for the Baggies.
As shared on the club’s website, the 30-year-old veteran has suffered an injury in training ahead of their defeat to Rotherham on Friday [7 April] ruling him out for the remainder of the Sky Bet Championship season.
This news comes after Republic of Ireland duo Dara O’Shea and Jayson Molumby were ruled out for lengthy spells – in O’Shea’s case the rest of the season – after reporting back from international duty.

Speaking on the club’s website after the Rotherham defeat [7 April], Corberan revealed: “In the previous training, he made one movement and felt pain. He felt unwell in the quadriceps.
“Unfortunately we have the worst news because he has injured the tendon in the quadriceps. He will be out for between eight to ten weeks.”
Yet another blow
Things seem to be going from bad to worse for West Brom right now, with this latest injury yet another blow to the club’s Championship playoff hopes.
With Grady Diangana, Matty Phillips and Alex Palmer having already been out of action for some time, followed by the news that O’Shea and Molumby could potentially be ruled out for the remainder of the season.

And with midfield anchor Okay Yokuslu also now on the sidelines, it seems as if the Spaniard is suffering some sort of injury curse in such a pivotal stage in their season.
The West Brom squad is now unbelievably depleted especially in the attacking and midfield department which means their push for promotion is surely looking bleaker by the week. The defeat to Rotherham will not have helped their cause too leaving Corberan in a worrying spot right now.
It’s clear West Brom needs some sort of a major squad rebuild, but the club’s financial state makes that even more difficult.
In other West Brom news, a defender may never feature for the club again after what happened and may even leave for free.
