Carlos Corberan shares verdict on future of West Brom amid fresh financial controversy
Carlos Corberan has no worries about the future of West Brom despite fresh controversy emerging recently over the club’s finances.
As relayed by the Express & Star, Albion’s accounts show there is “a material uncertainty” over the Black Country club’s future if they’re unable to raise cash.
Corberan, however, has no concerns as he aims to take the Baggies into the play-offs in the remaining Championship games this season.

“I want to spend a lot of time here and to put West Brom in a place where they deserve to be,” Corberan told The Telegraph.
“Sometimes there are going to be challenging moments for every club, when the future can be more complicated or negative.
“I can only tell you so far that I have found a club that can give me everything I want, and the possibility to develop every idea that I have.
“I cannot tell you about any negative thing that we are having right now that can make me worry about the future of a big club like West Brom.”
No chance
After Friday’s defeat at Rotherham, there’s no way the Baggies are winning promotion to the Premier League.
Even if we qualify for the playoffs, we’d just be rolled over because for a long time now, the squad has been made up of a bunch of gutless bottlejobs.
West Brom should have beaten Rotherham easily, with the greatest respect to the Yorkshire side.
However, Jordan Hugill – of all players – was allowed to steal the show and punish his former club, who looked absolutely hapless.
Sure, injuries haven’t helped. Losing Dara O’Shea, Jayson Molumby and Okay Yokuslu – three of the Albion’s best players this season – was a massive blow.
But the squad’s depth is a joke.
If West Brom don’t win promotion this season, they’re doomed.
They’ll have to sell most of the squad in the summer to maintain a positive cashflow and make repayments for the £20million MSD Holdings loan.
As a result, we’ll end up relying on League One-standard freebies and loanees from Premier League clubs.
It’s going to be a tough few years, Albion fans.
In other West Brom news, a defender may never feature for the club again after what happened and may even leave for free.
