Daryl Dike benched, Marc Albrighton starts – West Brom confirmed XI v QPR
Carlos Corberan has named his West Brom starting line-up to face QPR at the Hawthorns in the Championship on Monday (10 April).
The Baggies’ playoff hopes came crashing back down to earth following a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Rotherham on Good Friday (7 April), which left them five points off the top six with seven games of their season remaining.
As confirmed via the club’s official Twitter account, Corberan has made just one change from the side that started at the New York Stadium at the weekend.

Daryl Dike has been dropped to the bench, while January signing Marc Albrighton has been brought into the team.
Brandon Thomas-Asante therefore shifts from a wide position he took up against Rotherham and will instead lead the line for the Baggies against QPR.
Running out of time
The loss to Rotherham was a sucker punch to the club’s lingering promotion hopes, especially considering they took an early lead through John Swift.
The Baggies lacked any kind of back-bone in this bitterly disappointing loss and looked like they crumbled under the pressure of the match.
If Corberan’s side still harbours ambitions of promotion to the Premier League, they will probably need to win almost every game of the season remaining in their calendar.
The club were lucky that fellow playoff hopefuls Blackburn Rovers fell to defeat at the weekend, while Millwall only managed to pick up a point against Luton Town, meaning the gap wasn’t made too drastic ahead of this clash.
As was the case with Rotherham, QPR are fighting for their lives right now at the bottom of the Championship table, sitting just one point above the relegation zone and failing to pick up a single point from their last four outings.
Nothing but a win will be good enough to keep any slim chances of promotion alive.
In other West Brom news, Tony Brown was fuming at the “criminal” defending the team did against Rotherham.
