Tom Rogic faces uncertain future at West Brom, battle on to be fit for clash v Swansea City
Tom Rogic is fighting for his West Brom future as his contract nears expiry and may already have played his final game for the club.
The Australian joined on a free transfer earlier this season on a contract until the end of the campaign, with the option for a further year.
But having been restricted to just seven starts during an injury-hit spell at The Hawthorns, the Daily Record (7 May, 9:27) report that his future is uncertain and he could miss the final game of the season against Swansea.

“Former Celtic man Tom Rogic is facing an uncertain future at West Bromwich Albion,” they wrote.
“The Aussie is out of contract t at the end of the season. The Baggies hold a contract option on him but he has struggled to make a big impact at the club since arriving last September – making only seven starts in an injury-hit spell.”
Battle
Rogic joined and looked like some really good business on a free as we were aiming for a promotion push, before the awful start happened.
Under Carlos Corberan the system has changed and so has the style, and it’s arguably more suitable to how Rogic would like to play if he was 100% fit and healthy.

But he hasn’t been able to get into that condition at all really during his time here and if we don’t get promotion this season, the likelihood is that there will be big changes this summer and he could move on.
We can’t afford to have passengers at the club that can’t perform week in and week out due to injury, because it just puts us in a weaker position – especially when they’re not even sure-fire starters when they are fit.
It was a smart move at the time but realistically the club should be looking to move him on this summer and replacing him with someone better.
