Tom Rogic is facing a troublesome situation with his fitness at West Brom and is unlikely to start against Swansea, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert believes that the Australian midfielder cannot feature for more than 10-15 minutes in the final league game on Tuesday, 8 May.

The Baggies need a win and for other results to go in their favour to make it to the top four, with will have to get on with their business without the 30-year-old.

Speaking exclusively with West Brom News about Rogic’s condition, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said, “Nerve injuries and pain can be quite sensitive and troublesome.

“Based on what I’m seeing, it sounds like Rogic can currently only handle 10-15 minutes of playing before having discomfort.

“That obviously isn’t sufficient so you have to keep rehabbing and building up that tolerance level.”

Rogic has not had the season many thought he would, playing just 20 games in the Championship, with only four being starts.

He has mainly featured in midfield but had the odd game where he started as a striker and appears to have ended his season with a tally of one goal and three assists.

His contract runs out at the end of the season but the Baggies have the option to extend it by another year.

In other West Brom news, a key first-team player may now be back to normal condition for up to 18 months as fresh development emerges.
