‘Hokey-Cokey’ – Jeff Stelling reacts to West Brom footage live on Sky Sports today
Jeff Stelling has reacted to footage from Swansea City’s final-day clash against West Brom at the Liberty Stadium.
Okay Yokuslu had put Albion in front in South Wales before Luke Cundle equalised for the hosts in the 26th minute of the game.
West Brom briefly found themselves in the playoffs after Blackburn’s equaliser against Millwall at The Den. However, after Cullen’s equaliser, the Baggies found themselves back outside the top six.

Stelling reacted to the footage of Swansea’s goal, live on Sky Sports on Monday afternoon.
“It’s a Championship case of hokey-cokey,” he said (15:27, 8 May).
“In particular in West Brom’s case.”
Huge
A huge second half now awaits Carlos Corberan’s side. They simply have to get on the scoresheet and put the pressure on their playoff rivals. There will be plenty of twists and turns in the next 45 minutes, with there being a number of teams vying for fifth and sixth spots.
It’s now about getting the job done in South Wales and hoping results elsewhere fall Albion’s way. It’s been a remarkable turnaround under Corberan and finishing in the top six would be a fitting way to end the regular season. With Millwall now leading Blackburn, the focus will be on Coventry and their clash with high-flying Middlesbrough.

The Sky Blues will need to concede a goal or two to allow West Brom the chance to fight their way back into the top-six race. It looks unlikely at the moment, and there will need to be a piece of luck to head West Brom’s way if they want to extend their season.
