Tom Rogic named on the bench, Corberan names same team – Confirmed West Brom XI v Swansea

Carlos Corberan has made no changes to his West Brom starting lineup for the final Championship game of the season against Swansea.

The Baggies need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive on the final day of the season and Corberan has gone with the same team that claimed a win over Norwich last time out.

Okay Yokuslu and Jayson Molumby are fit to start in central midfield, while Brandon Thomas-Asante keeps his place in the starting line up up front.

Youngsters Modou Faal and Jovan Malcolm are named on the substitutes bench, alongside the fit again Tom Rogic.

Go for it

It’s the final day of a season that many people will want to forget as it stands, but this is a real chance to make something of it and claim a playoff spot.

We need plenty of things to go in our favour in order to secure a place in the top six at the end of the 90 minutes, but none of them matter if we don’t do our own job first.

West Brom

Corberan knows that and the players will know that the most important thing is all three points today, and the fans who have travelled up to Wales will be right behind them and pushing them over the line.

It shouldn’t be forgotten that Swansea will want to finish the season in the best way they can and they won’t make it easy, but if we perform to our best we are capable of getting the win.

Once that is done, then we have to hope for a favour from one of the other teams but even if it doesn’t happen at least we’ll know that we did everything we could to influence it.
