West Brom retained list to be announced before end of May as news emerges
West Brom are set to confirm very soon which players will be leaving the club now that the season has concluded, as reported by Birmingham Live.
There isn’t much happening at The Hawthorns just now, with head coach Carlos Corberan having already planned a short break in his native Spain to recharge for the demands of the new campaign.
Following the disappointment of not securing a playoff spot, significant changes are expected to the Baggies squad.

The Birmingham Live report from Joseph Chapman detailed the imminent updates on Corberan’s squad that are set to follow.
“It’s quiet at the moment for Albion, but season ticket details are expected to be released in the very near future and the club will also confirm their retain and release list before the end of May,” he said.
“By the time June arrives, then those at the club who have had their summer break will be back, putting plans in place for a summer of recruitment and pre-season.”

What happens next
West Brom went very close to squeezing into the playoff spots, but in the end, it was a case of so near, yet so far away.
Given the extent of the injury list through the season and the lowly place in the table that Corberan inherited, there can’t have been much more expected from him.
The ninth-place finish, just three away from a shot at promotion, was a very decent return.
You get nothing for coming close and the former Huddersfield Town boss knows that, as he aims to plot a way to the top in his first full season at the club.
Plenty of work lies ahead, including player trading, with the EFL transfer window set to open around four weeks from now, last year it was 10 June.
International deals can be completed as of 1 July, but they can be lined up prior to that date, right through to the first day of September when the summer transfer period concludes.
In other West Brom news, a done deal is confirmed as Baggies finalise new contract for this rising star.
