West Brom fan favourite Matheus Pereira has been spotted with current star Grady Diangana in a new post on his social media account.
Pereira left the Baggies in unfortunate circumstances after we were relegated to the Championship two seasons ago, while we have continued to struggle without him.
After another season ended in disappointment, fans will be delighted to see he still has a good relationship with some current stars after he was posted in Diangana’s Instagram story (9 June) showing the pair hanging out together during the off-season.

If West Brom want to get back into the Premier League, then re-signing Pereira would go a long way to helping that happen.
Obviously there is no chance of that with our current financial situation and all the problems at the club, and the truth is he’s far too good to be playing at this level again.
He earns a boat load of money where he is now and if he wanted to come back, then it would surely be to play at the highest level and not come back just for the sake of it.
There are plenty of things that need to be sorted this summer to make the squad capable of battling for promotion consistently next season and giving us a real chance, but until our manager situation is secure that’s hard to do.
Corberan simply can’t be allowed to go, but with a release clause there’s little we can do until other teams make their decision. Hopefully there is still some planning in the works, and while the club is in a depressing state right now seeing Pereira with our current squad raises a small smile.
