Serious consequences on cards at West Brom amid behind-the-scenes reveal – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former West Brom striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Hawthorns…
Kevin Campbell has not been pleased with West Brom director Xu Ke after news emerged in May about him refusing to answer questions.
The Liquidator on 17 May reported that the sole director of the WBA Group stated that those asking questions weren’t entitled to the answers.
Daily Mail carried a story seven days later claiming that Shareholders For Albion (S4A) were furious after they were refused answers on the management of the club’s funds.

Amid this development, Campbell feels that there could be severe consequences in the future.
Discussing this issue exclusively with West Brom News, Campbell, a Sky Sports pundit said, “I think there are going to be serious consequences for this because you just can’t do this. You’ve got to answer the questions.
“You’ve got to do your job and the fact is it’s like people are shirking responsibility and that, that can’t be allowed to happen.”
Express & Star reported on 6 June that Ke had even been accused of misleading shareholders with them prepared to take legal action as well.

It’s claimed that he did so on three separate occasions telling them that money had not left the club when it actually had.
S4A feel that they have no choice but to go down the legal route in order to prevent the misuse of club funds at the Hawthorns.
In other West Brom news, Chris Lepkowski left fuming amid a stinking Hawthorns development at the boardroom level.
