West Brom must sign 29-goal Peterborough striker Jonson Clarke-Harris – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former West Brom striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Hawthorns…
Kevin Campbell urges West Brom to sign Peterborough striker Jonson Scott Clarke-Harris this summer as they will aim to make the play-offs.
The Baggies narrowly missed out on the top six but had a very good chance until the final day of the league season.
With Daryl Dike out, they could look to bring in a new striker over the summer to give Carlos Corberan much needed reinforcements.

The Daily Record reported in July 2021 that West Brom were circling around the English striker after being linked with him for a while and Stoke Sentinel reported on 26 May 2023 that Peterborough had placed him on the transfer list.
Discussing a potential rekindling of interest exclusively with West Brom News, Campbell, a Sky Sports pundit said, “It all depends on the team and on how he adapts. You’d like to be positive and think if he’s doing well, he can come in and make a difference.
“But, we’ve seen these things happen where players haven’t played at that level and the Championship is the most brutal league.
“You know, it’s a hard league, but if you’re in one of the best teams, then you have a chance.
“I’m sure if West Brom were to bring him in and help him, he can be a difference maker.“

Clarke-Harris is on the back of an exceptional goal-scoring campaign where he bagged 29 strikes in all competitions and guided his team to the play-off final.
He failed to get promoted with them and it seems like that will now be his final year at the club.
He also provided five assists and has been linked with a move to fellow Championship side Stoke as well.
Thus, if West Brom were to rekindle their interest, they need to make a move for him sooner rather than later.
In other West Brom news, a Sky Sports pundit has lashed out at a Baggies employee and has mooted serious consequences behind the scenes at Hawthorns.
