Sky Sports pundit shares if Leeds United can tempt Carlos Corberan to leave West Brom
We’re delighted to welcome former West Brom striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Hawthorns…
Kevin Campbell has issued his prediction on Carlos Corberan’s future at West Brom amid links with his former club Leeds United.
The Whites parted ways with Sam Allardyce after just four games in charge and have been linked with their former assistant manager.
According to the Daily Mail [16 June], Leeds will be speaking to Corberan and Daniel Farke and they aim to conclude the process by the end of next week.

Discussing this exclusively with West Brom News, Campbell, a Sky Sports pundit said, “There are going to be teams trying to pick the carcass of all the teams who went down. I don’t see Leeds being any different. I think definitely teams will be looking to take their players.
“I don’t think Leeds will be able to tempt Corberan to leave. I know he comes from that same vein, but he’s got a job now, he’s got a job at a big club and he nearly made the playoffs.
“Obviously, with what’s going on at Leeds upstairs, I know from his job and he’s been there and he knows how the situation is.
“At West Brom, it’s not been as smooth as he probably would have liked but he’s working and he’s doing the business there.
“Now, Leeds are coming down so there’s going be players that leave, you know, it’s a hard job, it’s a really hard job.
“So, I just think he’s going to stay where he is.“

The Daily Mail report that the Spaniard has a £2million release clause in his contract at the Hawthorns in case any club wants to hire him.
Corberan was linked with a move to Elland Road back when Jesse Marsch was sacked as well but he ended up signing a new deal.
It remains to be seen if the Baggies can hold on to him for the second time or if he decides to return to Leeds under the new regime.
In other West Brom news, a Sky Sports pundit has lashed out at a Baggies employee and has mooted serious consequences behind the scenes at Hawthorns.
