West Brom in advanced talks for Pipa transfer before deadline
West Brom are closing in on the signing of Ludogerets defender Pipa, according to Sami Mokbel.
The Daily Mail journalist has reported that the Baggies are in advanced talks already to get a deal over the line before the deadline strikes at 11pm.
It has been no secret that Carlos Corberan has been looking for a new right-back, and it looks as though he has finally got his new man close to being confirmed.
Mokbel wrote: “Pipa in advanced talks with WBA.
“The full-back, currently with Ludogerets, is close to joining the Championship club.”

Last-gasp.
This move screams Corberan all over, and he looks set to get his man.
Pipa is a Spaniard, who was at Huddersfield when the gaffer was in charge there so this could be a reunion that suits both parties in the end.
The 25-year-old also went to Olympiakos after that, so this is definitely a player that Corberan knows well and will trust to do a job for him in the Championship.
It should make it easy for Pipa to settle into life at The Hawthorns, and a cheap deal must have become available late on, allowing the Baggies to strike.
Free transfers and loans were expected, but this looks to be the exception and possibly the only incoming we see today, although much can change before the deadline.
Darnell Furlong is one of the only options at right-back with Taylor Gardner-Hickman leaving on loan, so this looks to be a smart signing – we haven’t seen many of those in the past.
This should be announced soon.
