West Brom transfer news as updates emerge on Grady Diangana, Jon Swift and Alex Mowatt

West Brom forward Grady Diangana is set to be priced out of a transfer away from the club on deadline day, according to Darren Witcoop.

Jon Swift and Alex Mowatt are being allowed to leave the Hawthorns this summer and they still may leave before the 11 pm deadline.

The Baggies’ transfer activity is not over yet and may continue until the window shuts.

Via Twitter, the Daily Mirror journalist wrote, “Interesting that West Brom were open to allowing Jon Swift and Alex Mowatt going. Could still happen. Grady Diangana set to be priced out of a move.”

Get players in

West Brom have not had a good summer in terms of incomings and that’s been a real shame for the club.

Carlos Corberan got them on the cusp of the playoffs last season and they narrowly missed out on the top six.

He did a very good job under the circumstances and the board had to show they appreciate him by offering a decent budget and new signings.

A couple of loan deals may happen as there has been interest in a few players over the course of the past week.

Leeds United defender Cody Drameh was linked but the Baggies did not get that deal over the line.

It remains to be seen if they get their act together quickly and it’s important that they need to get deals over the line.
