Sky Sports host predicts West Brom scoreline v Bristol City at Ashton Gate
West Brom will return from the international break with a 1-1 draw away to Bristol City in the Championship, according to David Prutton.
Writing on Sky Sports (13 September), the Sky Sports host predicted the spoils to be shared at Ashton Gate, with just a single point for the visiting Baggies.
Just a point separates both sides in the Championship table and both sides will be eyeing at least a play-off spot this season, meaning this clash could have an impact at the end of the season.

Fair prediction
The unpredictability of the Championship often leaves pundits with egg on their faces after all the fixtures are played, but Prutton’s prediction could be on the money.
Both sides will be eager to get the win, naturally, but the pair would both feel that this game is there for the taking.
West Brom and Bristol City are both good at the opposite things. The Baggies 10 goals this season leaves them joint-third in the league for goals scored, while the Robins have managed just five in the opening five fixtures.
That being said, Nigel Pearson’s side have developed a quality defensive backline, with the likes of Zak Vyner and Cameron Pring proving consistent with just five goals conceded.

Carlo Corberan’s side meanwhile have has less luck keeping the ball out of Alex Palmer’s net, but will hope for their first clean sheet of the season.
On the face of it, the prediction seems fair, but the Baggies will fancy themselves and the victors in this away clash and could utilise the services of new signing Pipa. He said after signing, as reported by the Express and Star (11 September): “I’m a player that is attacking with defensive qualities. My biggest strength is going forward, but I like to attack a lot and defend a lot.”
Corberan will hope Pipa shows more of his defensive qualities at Ashton Gate to ensure at least a point but will seek the full three.
