Brandon Thomas-Asante shares West Brom ambition which will give fans confidence
Brandon Thomas-Asante has shared a positive update from inside West Brom training, claiming they are working hard at improving their shaky start to the season and are confident wins will follow soon.
The Baggies have had a turbulent start to the season having won just two of their opening nine games, losing three and drawing the other four, but the players are confident they can turn their form around.
Carlos Corberan’s first-choice striker has shared his belief that there is not a team in the league that works harder than West Brom are right now, and that gives the players the belief their efforts won’t be in vain.

Thomas-Asante told the Express and Star on 27 September: “We want to be winning every game and I’ve said before about the likes of Burnley last year, how they did and how hard they worked, I don’t think there is a team who work as hard as us in terms of tactically, physically, time spent on the training ground working on things.
“We do all that work so it bears fruit in the long run and we do want to see that and as players, we’re confident our efforts won’t be in vain.
“Sometimes you might put in the work and it takes a while to be seen and we’re in that phase now, but it might be the case where it’s touch and go before we start getting those wins and once we’re there, we won’t look back.”

Results begin on the training ground
The fact this West Brom squad are working hard on the training ground to turn around their unstable start to the season will put the preparation in place to go and show that hard work on the pitch. It is now up to the players to make sure that’s what they do.
Confidence in the players at the training ground that they will improve on recent results is another positive step towards achieving them. It’s when heads start to drop that real problems emerge, and that doesn’t seem to be the case at West Brom.
There is also recognition that the results haven’t been good enough, regardless of performances or external influences on the games, results are what the Baggies need.
For Thomas-Asante to share such confidence in himself and his teammates will be music to the ears of West Brom fans, who will now be hoping that his prediction of results to come will turn out to be correct.
