Carlos Corberan must change tack at West Brom amid worrying bottom-of-the-table Championship statistic
West Brom are finding it tough to find momentum this season, with the Baggies currently sitting 13th in the Championship table.
They have won just two of their eight league matches and have also lost two, with the Albion drawing their other four so far.
It is still the early stages of the campaign, but a change of tack may just be needed if the club have real ambitions of making the play-off spots.

And one area that could certainly be changed is the average age of the squad, with only Sheffield Wednesday (27.9) having an older average age than West Brom (27.5) in this season’s Championship, as per Transfermarkt.
Worryingly for the Baggies, Sheffield Wednesday sit rock bottom of the table, with just two points from their eight matches. The Owls haven’t won a single game, instead drawing twice and losing six times so far this season.
Of course Corberan can only work with what is in front of him, with a squad revamp perhaps then needed in the January transfer window.

Experienced players are definitely needed in a competition as difficult and demanding as the Championship, with each club playing 46 matches.
But youth cannot be overlooked, with young players often helping to bring out the best in their older teammates, and vice versa.
At 21, loan signing Jeremy Sarmiento is the youngest of Corberan’s regular squad players this season. Even then, the player is only at The Hawthorns temporarily, and has been utilised as a substitute as opposed to a regular starter.
In other West Brom news, one Baggies ace has backed up a Corberan decision with a 100% masterclass against Millwall.
