John Swift set to undergo scan as another new West Brom injury blow emerges after 3-1 Birmingham loss
West Brom midfielder John Swift is now set to undergo a scan after he was subbed off with a calf injury in their 3-1 defeat to Birmingham City on Friday 6 October, according to Express & Star.
The UK news outlet shares (7 October) that the Baggies face a nervous wait on the severity of the muscle problem after he limped out of Friday’s derby defeat at St Andrew’s.

The international break certainly comes at a crucial time for the Baggies in terms of Swift’s injury recovery because it would be a huge blow if he were to face a spell out with the calf injury.
The 28-year-old maestro has been immaculate so far this season, bagging six goals and one assist in eleven games, especially at a time when Corberan is short of options and a clinical edge in attack.
